Good Mood kills the virus!

I've always been a health and fitness buff since I was a kid. My parents had enrolled me in plenty of sports and outside activities to try to tame my endless energy, but gymnastics, taekwondo, soccer, tennis and biking could not quite exhaust me.

During my student years I went heavy on calisthenics and plain old gym-going, as well as paying attention to my diet and sleep schedule. I partied quite a bit but never indulged in drugs or alcohol abuse, so I can count myself lucky of having a relatively decent health and good energy for the majority of my life.

However, I've been struggling with anxiety and depression for several years now, and I can see the tax it has done on my body. I feel more tired, more sluggish and even my skin is grayer. Still, I know plenty of folks that have led a quite crappy lifestyle in terms of smoking, drinking and having a bad diet and are constantly in a better mood and with a quite strong overall health.

Now, this is not to discount the value of all the elements I've mentioned before. Like, it's better if you do sports, eat well, don't drink and don't smoke, but it fucking feels that the strongest indicator of good health around me is how positive, optimistic and able to relativize and chill you are, it really feels like 80% of everything is mindset!!!
